Karen Fleck, MD is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her undergrad studies at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated with honors. She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Fleck is certified in American Board of Family Practice, American Board of Hyperbaric Medicine and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Dr. Fleck has over 28 years’ experience in Emergency Medicine and 26 years in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. She is currently the medical director for Baptist Downtown Wound Care Center in Jacksonville, FL. In addition to her time in the ER and the Wound Care Center, she is also the ACLS trainer for the Baptist Medical System. Dr. Fleck is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Florida Academy of Family Practice, Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Society, American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, American College of Emergency Physicians and Florida Chapter of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Fleck professional interests include urgent care, hyperbaric and preventative medicine. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and paddle boarding on the Atlantic Ocean.
