Baptist Nassau

To keep abreast of Nassau county’s expected population growth of 30% within the next 10 years, and doubling by 2030, in 2003 Baptist Medical Center Nassau embarked upon a massive, three-phase expansion program. Phase I and Phase II, completed in 2004, renovated parts of the Emergency Department, Endoscopy suite and surgical suites. Phase III expanded the medical surgical inpatient wings and the intensive care unit. Because of the population growth in the area, the Emergency Department was again expanded in 2005.
The hospital is in the process of building a new $24 million in-patient center and intensive care unit to better serve the rapidly growing community.
