Fast Track Physicians

• Group Stability. ERG has staffed ER’s in NE Florida and SE Georgia for the past 30 years.
• Fast Tracks are staffed by Board Certified Family Physicians or (in Pediatric ER) by Board Certified Pediatricians.
• Goal: Treat patients and discharge them in less than 60 minutes.
• Strong emphasis on patient satisfaction scores and patient throughput times.
• Flexible schedule.
• No call responsibilities or carrying a beeper.
• No administrative activities.
• Each physician works half the weekends and half of the holidays. (We have two main holiday tracks)
• Physicians are Independent Contractors.
• Medical malpractice coverage provided, including tail coverage.
• Fast Track shifts are 9, 10 and 12 hours and in Peds ER, 8 and 12 hours.
• Physician coverage to ER patient volume ratio is approximately 20% better than average.
• Proactive Risk Management program, featuring Journal Club programs and the area’s largest Annual Risk Management Seminar.
• Competitive compensation, including productivity incentive bonus.
• Low turnover among physicians.
• All 5 Emergency Departments renovated or expanded in past 3 years.
• Electronic medical records currently used in 2 ER’s. EMR will be in all 5 ER’s by 2009.
